This song is so real and beautiful, it is very painful for me listen to it because it perfectly describes what my life has been until now, I am already too tired of suffering that I think it would have been better if I had never been born so that my family could be happier whitout me, in the midst of my problems I have a very close relationship with my dad who is the angel that God sent to the earth to protect me and with my older sisters and my nephews, I have a "normal" life and a good job and a good income although in the end that doesn't mean anything, my bipolar disorder, my addiction to opiates, benzodiazepines and sex have damaged me in such a brutal way that I no longer find the point in continuing to live, the truth is I haven't committed suicide because I don't want to harm my family anymore, when I was 11 years old my mom who suffered from severe depression took her own life, she was the best mom anyone could have but the depression destroyed her little by little until she couldn't take it anymore and committed suicide, I saw and feel how that almost destroyed my family but somehow we got ahead, I don't know what else to do, the only certainty I have is that I have to keep breathing, that I have to keep living because I still have a little hope that everything is going to be ok.

I just want to thank you for posting this video. I still remember when I first saw it. I was just a little boy listening to some Imagine Dragons on my aunt's computer. At time, I didn't know much about English, nor about life, and yet I was trying to understand the meaning of this song. Ten years later, I'm an english teacher now. Life has changed so much and tonight I've got myself thinking about it all, the things I regret, the things I wish were different, about how time goes fast and my struggles. Then, something reminded me of this video. When I watched, I felt like that little boy again. After all these years, after everything I've been through. This video made me realize that in the end I'm just a little boy trying to figure things out. I'm really grateful for having this moment. Thank you for. I truly hope that you're doing well. I made a call to the Dean and told him that I couldn't make it to Orientation. I changed my mind and had this song on repeat to help me get to the Orientation. I went on to become a highly respected award-winning professor.
